I’m delighted to be on board at Healthx, focusing on marketing and engagement – two critical areas in healthcare today. As background, I’ve recently been Chief Engagement Officer at Healthcentric Partners, an engagement strategy and marketing consultancy, and had previously been Director of Sustainable Engagement at Healthways.
The earlier part of my career was spent in consumer advertising for healthcare products and services, including 16 years in direct-to-consumer (DTC) promotion of prescription brands. I’ve had deep interest in Healthcare Consumerism for nearly a decade and wrote a book in 2008 called Why Healthcare Matters: How America’s Business Leaders Can Drive Transformational Change as an employer’s guide to healthcare consumerism.
